Answer in All Channels
Best for: Servers wanting seamless AI integration without changing user behavior
Pros: Natural user experience, no special channels needed, catches questions anywhere
Cons: Requires proper confidence tuning
Answering in all channels is the default behavior and the most common use case of Wallu. You don't need to change anything. See troubleshooting section below if this is not working.
Troubleshooting
- To troubleshoot any issues, first try
!wallu
. If it can read and send messages on that channel, it will reply to this command.- Note that it may also mention why it's not answering the questions there.
- Try mentioning Wallu (@wallu or "wallu" or replying to its message)
- Make sure the channel is enabled in the channels page.
- Make sure you have FAQs enabled for that channel on the FAQs page.
- Make sure documents are enabled for that channel on the documents page.
- Make sure either a FAQ matches the question or document directly answers the question.
- If Wallu still isn't responding, see our comprehensive troubleshooting guide for more solutions.
Note: When testing, avoid asking the same question repeatedly in a short time period, as this can confuse Wallu's context understanding.
