Answer in All Channels

Best for: Servers wanting seamless AI integration without changing user behavior. Pros: Natural user experience, no special channels needed, catches questions anywhere. Cons: May occasionally answer when not needed (can be tuned with confidence settings).

This is the default behavior. You typically don't need to change any settings for this to work. Wallu will monitor all channels it has access to and answer when it finds a high-confidence match in your knowledge base.

Troubleshooting: Wallu Not Answering?

If Wallu isn't responding to questions:

  1. Check Permissions: Type !wallu in the channel. It must respond to this command.
  2. Check Settings: Ensure the channel is enabled in the Channels page.
  3. Check Knowledge: Ensure you have relevant FAQs or documents enabled for that channel.
  4. Staff Setting: Check if "Avoid answering staff" is enabled in Settings.

Note: When testing, sometimes asking the same question repeatedly in a short time period may cause issues due to how Wallu understands contexts (i.e., it sees you have asked it 5 times).
