Multilingual Support
Wallu helps international communities in many languages out of the box. Users ask in their own language, and Wallu matches the question against your knowledge and replies in the same language - even when your FAQs and documents are written in English.
It just works
Multilingual support is automatic - there's nothing to turn on and no separate translation step. Your existing knowledge base works as-is, in whatever language(s) it's written.
Good to know
- Your knowledge can stay in one language. Wallu searches across languages, so English docs can answer a question asked in, say, Spanish or German.
- Steer the reply language with custom instructions if you want to force a specific one, e.g. "Always reply in French."
- Per-channel tone still applies - combine this with channel custom instructions for region-specific channels.
tip
If most of your community speaks one non-English language, also write your most important FAQs or #wallu-knowledge posts in that language for the most natural answers.
